Win City
During my time at Win City Soul’d Out Christian Center (now known as Win The City), I served as a graphic designer, AV technician, and tech consultant, contributing to both the creative and technical direction of the ministry. As part of the media and production team, I helped lead efforts in event promotion, live service support, and digital communication strategy. I designed promotional materials for youth outreach, holiday services, and community events like “Kidz Bowling,” “Donuts with Dad,” and “Special Harvest Giving Sunday.” My responsibilities also included managing sound and projection during live services, advising on equipment upgrades, and helping train volunteers in media operations. This experience allowed me to blend design, systems thinking, and leadership, supporting a mission-driven organization through creativity, clarity, and consistency.
LuxCuts
This project was developed as the final capstone for my MIS 764 E-Commerce Strategy course. Lux-Cuts is an on-demand mobile haircut platform designed to connect clients with licensed barbers wherever they are — no appointment needed. As part of the project team, I contributed to the strategic planning, IS-driven business model, competitive analysis, and execution roadmap. The concept combines location-based services, algorithmic matching, and demand-based pricing to create a seamless user experience for both barbers and clients. From system design to projected revenue modeling, this project demonstrates how digital platforms can transform traditional service industries through scalability, flexibility, and innovation.
Veterans Advocacy Council
As Interim CIO at the Veterans Advocacy Council, I led the modernization of our information systems to support more efficient service delivery and internal coordination. I implemented tools for data management, digital communication, and workflow automation that helped streamline case tracking and program reporting. My focus was aligning technology strategy with the organization's mission, using scalable, secure, and user-friendly systems that could grow with the community we serve.
Art Design
Juan Ramon a.k.a Rome, known artistically as No Manos ("no hands"), is a combat veteran turned digital artist whose work is rooted in resilience, transformation, and bold self-expression. Navigating neuropathy and limited grip after military service, Rome turned to digital painting as a powerful creative outlet. His pieces blend vibrant color with raw emotion, telling stories of struggle, strength, and renewal. Every design is both a visual experience and a reflection of what it means to create beyond limits.
Information Systems
This collection showcases my work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and systems thinking. From automation workflows and full-stack development to data-driven dashboards and enterprise solutions, these projects reflect my ability to design, build, and optimize systems that solve real-world problems. With a focus on user experience, scalability, and innovation, each project demonstrates my commitment to aligning technology with business and community needs—whether through back-end architecture, workflow automation, or cross-platform integration.
Graphic Design
From event flyers and brand visuals to community outreach campaigns, my graphic design work blends strategy with creativity. Each project is crafted to communicate clearly, resonate emotionally, and leave a lasting impression. With a strong eye for layout, typography, and color, I design with purpose—whether for digital platforms, print media, or public engagement.
